Eric Susoeff

Well known to Pittsburgh jazz enthusiasts, guitarist, arranger and composer Eric Susoeff has been part of the city’s music scene since his debut with Harold Betters at the Shadyside Encore in 1976. Although Eric has played with a long list of local and international luminaries his primary focus continues to be his Latin jazz quintet Salsamba, founded in 1984, which has played to clubs, festivals and colleges throughout the U.S. The group has released six recordings, the most recent titled “Mojito Blues.” Eric has appeared on 80CDs to date including Lilly Abreu’s “Brasileira” and Kenia Celebrates Dorival Caymmi.
