2024 Symposium Held In Person and Streamed Live on YouTube March 10

This year’s presenters include Gaelen McCormick, Patricia Weitzel, Max Dimoff, Nick Meyers, Jeff Mangone, the PSO bass section, and Carnegie Mellon University Double Bass faculty, Micah Howard and Peter Guild. There will also be special guest appearances from Jeff Turner and Carl Anderson. Jason Heath will be there to cover the event.
Sponsors/Exhibitors include Shank’s Strings, Heartland Double Bass Shop, Bob’s House of Basses, Guarneri House, Upton Bass, and Bowed String Shop.
All performances and classes are held in Kresge Theatre. The exhibitors are located in Alumni Concert Hall in the College of Fine Arts Building.
